The estate Domaine Mur-Mur-Ium, which means « the Buzzing Song of Bees » is a family estate located on the slopes of the Mont Ventoux mountain.
A story of passion
The estate was founded in 1995 and taken over by Marc Pichon in 2008, a lover of the land, a strong character who is convinced that the terroirs of Ventoux have the capacity to make great wines ...
The estate is managed by Véronique Pichon, who continues the work of her brother Marc.
With the Pichons we have respect for the land and nature in our blood.
Mormoiron is a small charming village located on the slope of Mont Ventoux the “giant” mountain of Provence.
On the slope of Mont Ventoux
A region well known for the quality of its wines and a land from which emerge the great vintages of the southern Rhône valley.
Ventoux rubs shoulders with Côtes de Provence, Vacqueyras, Gigondas or even Châteauneuf-du-Pape ....
The estate takes advantage of strong sunshine and the high summer heat typical of the Mediterranean climate.
The Mistral plays an essential role for the vineyard.
He dries the vines after the rain and protects them from diseases. It also brings the freshness of Mont Ventoux.
The plots are located on varied soils: white clay, clay-limestone, rocky and sandy. Soil qualities that guarantee good drainage.
We have always worked organically, in an artisanal way, respecting the soil and without any pesticides.
Since 2018, the entire Domaine has been certified Organic Ecocert.
